LAHORE: Weather remained hot and humid in the city on Tuesday while the Met office predicted same weather for the next 24 hours.
The office said weak seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan while a westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country. They predicted mainly hot and dry weather in most part of the country while rain-thunderstorm is expected in few places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities including Hunza, Bagrote, Gilgit, Astore, Gupis, Chillas, Bunji, Malamjabba, Saidu Sharif, Parachinar, Dir, Kalam, Pattan, Barkhan and Garidupatta. Tuesday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Dadu where mercury reached 42°C while in Lahore it was 36°C, minimum was 23.5°C and humidity in the air was 43 per cent.
