Student thesis exhibited at FJWU
Rawalpindi: The Fatima Jinnah Women University student’s of MFA and BFA exhibited their creative and innovative art work in the ‘Thesis Display 2016’ here on Friday in university premises. The display of 2017 was a magnificent show of creativity, innovation and professional approach of the Fine Arts students. R.M. Naeem (senior artist) inaugurated the display.
R. M Naeem is the high supporter of art appreciated the efforts of University and its departments for professional development of its students. He said “culture of both countries is quite alike and we should reflect about cultural and educational exchange. In Japan, lot of importance is put on education mainly on women education”, he said.
R. M. Naeem further said the maturity of student’s work also highlights the contributions made by their teachers and dedication of the university towards its students through providing them an ideal environment to groom their talents and creativeness.
In the thesis display, 71 students of Master and Bachelor Program took part to proof their flair and diverse artistic approach. Art pieces in different disciplines including, Oil Painting, Textile, Miniature paintings, Print making, Communication design and Photography were displayed. The art work displayed in the exhibition was very distinctive and full of expressions as the young artistic souls tried to translate their emotions and ideas through their fabulous work.
