ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected 10-member ethics committee formed by National Assembly Speaker to probe the Imran-Gulalai scandal.

While addressing a press conference on Monday, PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mehmood said that PTI rejected the ethics committee of National Assembly which seemed to target only Imran Khan. He said PTI was ready for impartial investigation on the allegations of Ayesha Gulalai and there should be forensic audit of the charges on scientific basis, because these allegations were false.

Shafqat Mehmood said that official machinery was being used for the reception of Nawaz Sharif. He said that the verdict of Supreme Court was being maligned by using patwaries and police. He said that PML-N should hold gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan or Parade Ground if it claimed popularity among the masses. PTI leader also slammed PPP and said what to talk about Bilawal Bhutto who talked about corruption and whose father is Asif Ali Zardari.
