CDA to accelerate anti-encroachment drive
Islamabad: Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) Mayor and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz has directed the enforcement wing to further accelerate the pace of the drive against encroachment
Chairing a meeting to review performance of the enforcement wing, the mayor emphasised coordinated and collaborated efforts for complete eradication encroachments from the city also sought cooperation of the business community particularly traders unions to in this connection.
During the meeting, the mayor was informed that in all 125 anti-encroachment operations against illegal constructions and encroachments are being conducted all over the city and also received Rs98,700, in account of imposition of fine during the month of July. Director Enforcement informed the meeting that anti-encroachment operations are being conducted all over the city without any discrimination.
