Nawaz’s disqualification is for life: Farogh Naseem
ISLAMABAD: Renowned legal expert Barrister Farogh Naseem has said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified under Article 62(1)(f) and such ineligibility is for life.
Talking to Geo News on Friday, Farogh Naseem said that the Supreme Court has declared in this Lehri case of 2013. He said that if anything is in black and white, the court itself can disqualify, adding that if the Supreme Court has not written the period of disqualification then it’s for life.
Separately talking to media, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan has no personal enmity with Sharif’s family. He said hat Sharif’s family failed to provide source of income. Fawad Chaudhry said that Sharif’s family had opportunities to defend. He added that it is responsibility of the opposition to keep eye on the government.
