PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has approved the transfer of one training institute for the skill development of destitute, widows and poor to Lissaail-e-Wal Mahroom Foundation.
He made the announcement while addressing a ceremony arranged in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat for the destitute, deserving and orphans receiving education in different professional educational institute through Lissaail-e-Wal Mahroom Foundation.
According to an official handout, Senior Minister Sikandar Sherpao, Khyber Pakh-tunkhwa Deputy Speaker Dr Meher Taj Roghani, other members of the board of the foundation attended the function.
Chairman of the foundation, Haji Muhammad Javed, also spoke on the occasion. One hundred orphan students enrolled in medical and engineering colleges received cheques. Of them 70 were male and 30 female.
The chief minister said the provincial government was heavily investing in human development and education.
