LAHORE PPP central Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the Lahore terrorist attack has exposed the Safe City Project of the PML-N government.
Flanked by senior party leader Samina Ghurki, Kaira said how a government that was itself in trouble could protect the citizens. He said the prime minister should immediately quit as two judges of the Supreme Court had already disqualified him and three ordered for forming the Joint Investigation Team to probe charges on him. The PPP leader said except the PML-N the entire nation had lauded the JIT report. He said the government whose own interior minister was annoyed with it could work for people welfare.
He said dacoities committed by the rulers on grand scale had been caught now. He added that terrorism needed to be eliminated and proper steps were required for the purpose. The Safe City Project of Punjab government had proved a failure.
