Road crashes claim three lives
Three people lost their lives and one sustained injuries in two different road accidents in the city on Tuesday.
In Gulistan-e-Jauhar, 30-year-old Muhammad Waseem and his pillion rider, 18-year-old Sohail, suffered severe injuries when a speeding vehicle crashed into their motorcycle. While the vehicle's driver sped off and police still had no clue as to his identity, the injured bike riders were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
Doctors later confirmed that Waseem had passed away during treatment and Sohail remained in critical condition. Two more as yet unidentified men lost their lives in a car collision reported near Siemens Chowrangi, SITE. Officials said the crash was between two cars and that the bodies of the as yet unidentified victims were shifted to the JPMC for legal formalities.
