PML-N dissociates itself from pro-Shahbaz banners
LAHORE:The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML-N leadership announced dissociation from specific banners displayed by some elements and said the entire party is united under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
These views were expressed by PML-N Lahore president Pervaiz Malik, General Secretary Kh Imran Nazir and Secretary Information and Broadcasting Imran Ali on Sunday.
They said such elements have no link to the party and it is not the policy of the party. The party office-bearers said action will be taken against those displaying mischievous banners and they will be identified and disclosed.
They said certain elements want to achieve their specific designs by creating misunderstanding in the current situation of the country but every Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz worker is standing with its leadership and will never become a part of such naughtiness.
They appealed to the media not to issue stance of anyone without verification from the party. They said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is the biggest elected political party of the country and hoped all party wings and workers are united to steer Mian Nawaz Sharif out of current challenge.
