NHMP officers rewarded

LAHORE: National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) have set an example of honesty by returning Rs 134,000 to its owner.
The NHMP central zone officers Muhammad Arshad and Istiaq Ahmad of Beat 24 found the money on highway near Machi Goth, and returned its owner Muhammad Arif, son of Muhammad Sadiq, who had told the NHMP officials about his missing bag.
The owner appreciated integrity, honesty and professionalism of NH&MP officers. DIG Mirza Faran Baig granted them commendation certificates. He stressed the officers to uphold the core values of department mainly honesty and courtesy.
