KARACHI: Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) has announced that its summer camp would be held from July 20 to August 3 at its sports complex.
The camp will be supervised by former international Jameel Ahmad Khan. He will be assisted by Arshad Siddiq, Shakir Ali, Naeem Haider, Asim Khan, Shujaat Khan and Imtiaz ul Hasan.
Children from eight to 16 years of age can attend the camp. They will be provided camp T-shirts with KHA logo, hockey sticks and participation certificates.
The camp will be held five days a week from 4:30 pm to 6pm with rest on Fridays and Mondays. Such hockey stars as Samiullah, Hanif Khan, Ayaz Mahmood, Nasir Ali, Kamran Ashraf and Kashif Jawwad will visit the training venue for giving tips to the participants.
Another attraction will be Pakistan captain Haseem Khan who will be at the venue two days a week to train the children, a KHA spokesman said. The children will not have to pay any charges.
