The police searched 611 houses and 222 hotels and arrested 265 suspects. In snap checking at 147 checkpoints, 300 suspects were held, said an official communique.
A total of 70 Afghans were also detained on charges of illegally living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it said. More than 29 cases were registered against them. The police inspected the security arrangements of 977 educational institutions in the province, the statement added.
