FPCCI president leaves for Tajikistan
KARACHI: Zubair F Tufail, president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), left for Tajikistan on Wednesday along with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, a statement said.
Tufail is part of the delegation that includes commerce minister Khurram Dastgir, adviser to the prime minister on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz and minister for water and power Khwaja Muhammad Asif, it added.
The FPCCI president would attend and address the third meeting of Pakistan-Tajikistan Joint Business Council in Dushanbe and also discuss the matters of bilateral trade enhancement and cooperation in. Tajikistan is an important member of the Economic Cooperation Organization. During his absence, Aamer Ata Bajwa, senior vice president of the FPCCI, will be the acting president, it added.
