‘Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqi’ observed

Islamabad: The universal ‘Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqi’ was observed throughout the country Monday with religious and national spirit, devotion and respect on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to lodge protest against demolition of holy shrines of Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.), Hazrat Aisha, Hazrat Hafsa (R.A.), Sahaba Kubaar, Hazrat Usman (R.A.), Aaimma Ahle Bait (A.S.), Sardar-e-Jannat Imam Hassan (A.S.), Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.), Imam Baqar (A.S.), Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) in ‘Jannatul Baqi’ and Jannatul Moallah, says a press release.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi addressing the mourners in this connection said had the indecent act of demolition of ‘Jannatul Baqi’ was not made then no terrorist would have the courage to raise his eye towards Makkah, Madina and Harmain Sharifain nor any blasphemer like Rushdie would come to fore, insulting images would not have published. He said the symbols of non-Muslims are safe while holy symbols of Muslims are wiped out.

Agha Moosavi said we wolud continue our protest till the restoration of dignity of the holy shrines.In Rawalpindi, the central Matmi protest demonstration was taken out from Imambargah Nasir Al-Aza, Murree Road. They lodged strong protest on the dilapidated condition of ‘Jannatul Baqi’ while Matmi Halqas presented ‘pursa’ to the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) on the destruction of holy shrines of his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.), Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.).

The protest rally among others was led by Ulema Karam belonging to different schools of thought, office-bearers of TNFJ and other subordinate bodies, provincial, regional and district elite, leaders and Matmi Salars of religious organisations.

The participants of the rally were raising slogans against the destruction of holy shrines and in favour of restoration and reconstruction of the same while hundreds of workers of Mukhtar Generation and youth of Ibrahim Scouts were carrying the ‘Shabih’ of ‘Jannatul Baqi’ and placards inscribed with different slogans.

The participants marched on Murree Road towards Committee Chowk performing Matamdari and ‘Noha-Khwani.’

Addressing the rally, TNFJ Central spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi presented the special message of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and also got approved a few resolutions. Slogans demanding restoration of dignity of the holy shrines were raised. It was demanded to declare the combined heritage of the Islamic World Makkah and Madinah as international cities.

Operation Raddul Fasaad was fully supported and action demanded against banned parties. Incidents of Parachinar, Quetta and Karachi were condemned while they strongly condemned the humiliation of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) by a newspaper.

Solidarity was also expressed with the people of Kashmir, Palestine, Burma, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qateef, Al-Awamia and other Islamic States who are the victim of oppression.

The procession expressing complete faith in the leadership of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, reiterated their resolve to continue supporting his every call and offer any sacrifice for the rights of the Maktab-e-Tashih, protection of the righteous beliefs, promotion of oneness and brotherhood, and for the supremacy of the religion and the motherland.

Later, the rally terminated at Imambargah Colonel Maqbool Hussain after passing through its traditional route where special prayers marked the conclusion of the rally.

Mukhtar Force volunteers escorted the rally throughout while district administration had made foolproof arrangements en route the rally. Police officers and jawans remained with the rally throughout.

In federal capital, the protest procession was taken out by TNFJ District Islamabad Universal ‘Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqi’ Committee from Imambargah Darbar Sakhi Mahmood Badshah. The rally was led by Ulema Karaam and religious elite belonging to different schools of thought.

Addressing the rally, TNFJ Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari said that reconstruction of ‘Jannatul Baqi’ is the issue in faith, spiritual and human in nature. He called upon the United Nation to get the dignity of Islamic symbols restored. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Syed Naeem Kazmi also addressed the rally while convener of the District ‘Jannatul Baqi’ Committee Raja Iqan Ali thanked the participants of the rally and the administration.

Later the rally terminated at Darbar Sakhi Mahmood Badshah where special prayers were offered to mark the conclusion of the rally.

Meanwhile according to reports reaching the offices of Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam ‘Jannatul Baqi’ Committee, the protest rallies were also organised and ‘Majalis-e-Aza’ were held in Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi, Chakwal, Fateh Jang, Pindigheb, Taxila, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sadiqabad, Sargodha, Larkana, Faisalabad, Quetta, Jhelum, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Gilgit-Baltistan, Bagh, Gujrat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Khairpur Mirs, Shahdadpur, Mirpur Khas, Kakul, Abbottabad, Nowshera, Lalamusa, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Mianwali.

Like all cities, towns and villages of Pakistan, protest rallies were also taken out in America, Britain, Canada, Italy, Greece, Middle East, Africa, and Australia.
