IIU acting head, Saudis discuss cooperation

Islamabad: Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan, the acting president of the International Islamic University, Islamabad, discussed bilateral educational cooperation with institutional heads and key persons in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He was invited to Saudi Arabia by Prof. Dr. Suliman Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, the university’s pro-chancellor. During meetings, the university's progress, academic excellence and mutual cooperation were discussed. Dr. Mohammad Bashir Khan also met Imaam-i-Kaaba Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais and other noted personalities including members of Saudi Ulema Council. In the meetings, Dr. Bashir apprised about the role of the IIU in dissemination of Islam’s message of peace.
