Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) and Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in relief function, health and education sectors.
Both organisations would also exchange information and expertise in related fields. The PRCS would also assist the Al-Khidmat Foundation for training of volunteers and arrange workshops for them in this connection.
The MoU was signed by PRCS Chairman Dr. Saeedul Hayee and Assistant Secretary General Muhammad Tayyab Siddiqui and Central Vice President of Al Khidmat Foundation Syed Ehsanullah Waqas, Assistant Secretary General Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem and National Director Disaster Management Programme Ehsanullah Qureshi were present at the signing ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saeedul Hayee said the services of the Al Khidmat Foundation are model for other social welfare organisations to follow.
