Pakistanis in Bahrain celebrating cricket victory: Javed Malik
BAHRAIN: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Javed Malik was joined by Bahrain’s Minister of Labour Jamil Hamadain, Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations Chairperson Betsy Mathieson and Khan Mohammed Tanoli at a special celebration dinner organised to pay tribute to the Pakistani cricket team for winning the ICC Champions Trophy.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Javed Malik said, “We salute the Pakistani cricket team for its outstanding performance. We thank the Pakistani cricket team and its management for bringing so much joy and happiness for the Pakistani nation.” He further said that the Pakistanis living across the Gulf countries were equally jubilant on this victory. He thanked the Bahraini minister of labour for his presence and appreciated the organiser Khan Mohammed and his team for creating this wonderful opportunity for the community.
