Artificial jewellery stalls attract women

Artificial jewellery stalls showcasing different varieties have been set up in various markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr attracting a large number of womenfolk.
These stalls offering sale on bangles rings, bracelets and many other things that are the main interest of womenfolk.
Soon, after ‘iftari’ huge rush had witnessed in markets for Eid shopping.
Bazaar were decorated with colourful lights which attracts people of twin cities,G-9 Markaz, Supermarket, Jinnah Supermarket, Saddar, Commercial Market are bangle hubs in Federal Capital and Rawalpindi.
The shopkeepers expect the sale will go further up a week before Eid.
"It is three days before Eid when our sale of bangles will be at the highest point," Fayyaz Khan a stallholder at Jinnah Super, said.
"Price of a dozen of bangles ranges from Rs100 to Rs300, depending on their quality and style.
Kanwal Sohaib, a student said, "Eid shopping is incomplete without buying bangles and applying ‘mehndi’.
"Sameen Khan, a student of Fatima Jinnah University said that handmade bangles have become popular but are costly as compared to steel bangles which last longer.
According to a stall holder at Karachi Company rubber bangles along with artificial gold bangles was in great demand this year.
When contacted to Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) an official said” "Security measures had been taken to facilitate the buyers in safe and secure manner in various markets.”
bangles: Sale and demand of bangles and ‘henna’ used by female has increased ahead of Eidul Fitr in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Stalls selling bangles and henna were doing huge business these days, as these two items are most popular among girls and women who throng to these stalls to purchase these items in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
A buyer Anum Khursheed said, "I as a fashion lover used to match bangles with the colour of my Eid dress."
A shopkeeper Farhan Ahmed at Jinnah Super said, "Bangles and ‘mehndi’ attract women, irrespective of their age, and its true to say "What an Eid without bangles".
Another buyer Kanwal Khan, said, "Every year, parlours introduce new and unique designs of ‘mehndi’ as every girl wants to have a new and different design on her hands.
"A stall holder Ali Faizan said, "Flowery designs and fine lines are popular on Eid while many young girls make their own designs.
Use of glitter and shining powder as well as stars is a new addition to ‘Mehndi’ designs.
A shopkeeper Rehman Ahmed at Mooti bazaar said, "Bangles are made from different materials such as glass, plastic and even gold.
Though bangles are worn all over the world for style and fashion, glass bangles are renowned and are in great demand.
"The trend of women henna experts is increasing during Eid celebrations as they setup their stalls days before Eid till ‘Chand Raat’ to attract females.
Offering traditional and contemporary motifs in a variety of ‘Mehndi’ kinds an ‘mehndi’ expert Mahrukh Khan said."
shopping: As the third ‘Ashra’ of Ramazan started, markets of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are flooded with crowd especially women who are busy buying matching sandals, clothes and jewellery.
Especially after ‘iftari’ children and women were more enthusiastic in choosing new and unique design clothes to wear on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
City Traffic Police has made special arrangements to avert congestion in busy markets and people may not violate the traffic rules.
Markets have been decorated with beautiful coloured lights to attract the customers.
A resident of Islamabad Inaam Ullah said, "The buyers, mostly middle class were found moving from shop to shop asking prices of goods.
Buyers inlarger numbers, mostly women and children, were throng to the different markets after the Iftar he said.
A shopkeepeer Farhan Saif said, “Visitors with good salary were approaching different big shopping centres while the low-income class people are also seen purchasing their desired items from the stalls established at footpaths in the city.”
"The shops were displaying with intricate designs of jewellery to attract the female customers. A buyer Anum Ahmed said," The shopkeepers are seen happy due to frequent sale of their items.
