Crackdown against POs ordered

FAISALABAD: CPO Dr Sohail Tajik Wednesday directed all SHOs of Faisalabad district to immediately constitute special raiding teams to arrest proclaimed offenders (POs).
He said the special teams should conduct raids daily basis to apprehend the POs and reports of the raids should be forwarded to the relevant SP.
The CPO said maps of houses of POs and telephone numbers of neighbours should also be forwarded to the CPO office on daily basis.
He said if any police officer submit the bogus report regarding raids, the SP concerned should take cognizance of this lapse and initiate departmental inquiry against the relevant officer.
