According to the press release  issued by the Metropolitan  Police, Khalid Javed Baqa has been remanded in custody at West Minister Court to appear at the Central Criminal Court on 30th June. Police furtherer told that these charges have no link with the investigation into the London Bridge terrorist attack.

The PIA flight was escorted by two Royal Jetfighter Typhoon and forced to land PIA aircraft at Sensated airport where all passengers were held in the plane until eight hours.

Khalid Baqa was granted bail after eight hours and he appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrate Court on 6th April. The court in its verdict fined him for £175 in a car insurance fraud case.

Khalid Baqa, a former revenue officer at Hackney Borough council, was jailed  for two years  in 2013 for possessing computer discs of terrorist material with the intention of distributing them.

Baqa was also pulled over on the school run after going through the red light and was fined by Stratford Magistrate in 2015, he also had received three penalty points.

Baqa was arrested on 13th June for an address to a Barking and was charged with terrorism acts on 14th June.
