Hesco official files defamation suit against two employees
NAWABSHAH: An official of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) has filed defamation suits against two Hesco employees and dispatched notices in this regard.
Hesco Superintendent Engineer (Nawabshah Circle) Malik Imtiazul Haque said that he had filed a defamation suit of Rs101.1 million in the court of senior civil judge against Sajan Panhwar. Malik asserted that Sajan Panhwar had levelled false allegations of technical corruption against him in newspapers and social media.
On the other hand, the Hesco official said that he had sent another defamation suit of Rs50 million to Hesco Commercial Assistant Revenue Zulfiqar Zardari. He said that both of the above-mentioned employees had levelled baseless allegations against him.
He further said that some people, within Hesco, had started character assassination drive against him after he had launched drives against power theft in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar and Naushahro Feroze districts.
