According to the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP), the world’s most expensive metal molybdenum is found in Balochistan. The metal can be used for making aircrafts. The GSP has been exploring minerals in the province for a long time and they have successfully discovered 36 precious minerals, including antimony, marble, copper, dolomite, gold, magnetite, etc. The cost of these minerals is estimated to be nearly $50 trillion.
These minerals worth million of rupees and can help the country earn a great amount of foreign exchange. It is unfortunate that despite having an abundance of natural resources, the country’s economic growth is unsatisfactory. Even Balochistan is being ignored by the government. People in Balochistan do not have access to basic facilities.
