Three people were killed and several others injured in separate road accidents in the city on Sunday.
According to officials, one of the accidents – which claimed the lives of two citizens and left more than 10 with minor injuries – was a case of a pile-up. It was said that multiple vehicles collided in the Gulshan-e-Maymar area, resulting in the death of two unidentified men.
Both victims suffered head injuries and died on the spot.
Their bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities
In Surjani Town, a 30-year-old man, Shahzad, died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a road. He was shifted to the ASH but succumbed to injuries soon after.
