Versatile Beauty

Full Circle Gallery is hosting an exhibition titled “Versatile Beauty” featuring paintings by Mariya Shaikh.

Inspired by women, Shaikh highlights the positive image and inner beauty of women with main focus on their hidden powers and potentialities.

Who Killed Shumaila?

“Who Killed Shumaila?” is an exhibition about a crime perceived by a group of artists all having a different angle on Shumaila’s murder. She can be a mother for one, a lover for another or maybe not even a person. Putting a show together with a theme, but free for each artist to use their own imagination in creating their victim and crime is something very exciting and unusual.

The artists include: Affan Baghpati, Feroze Gulzar, Mir Dostak, Mudassir Sheikh, Rabia S.Akhtar, Razin Rubin, Roohi Ahmad and Samina Islam.

The show opens at 5pm on Tuesday, May 23 at the Sanat Initiative and continues until Thursday, June 1.

Social Objects

“Social Objects”, an exhibition by four emerging artists opens at Canvas Gallery on Tuesday, May 23 at 5pm.

The participating artists, Ahsan Javaid, Arslan Farooqi, Ehsan Memon and Hamid Ali Hanbhi are graduates of the National College of Arts, Lahore.

The show comprises of new and multimedia works, paintings and sculptures.

The show remains open daily until Thursday, June 1 (excluding Sunday) from 11am - 8pm.
