14 schoolchildren among 16 injured in Swat mishap
MINGORA: At least 16 persons including 14 schoolchildren sustained injuries when a school bus overturned at Matta area in Swat district on Friday, official sources said. They said a vehicle of the Army Public School Matta was on its way when the driver lost control over the steering wheel.
The vehicle turned turtle on the road at Koz Sher Palam. As a result, 16 persons including 14 schoolchildren sustained injuries. The injured students were taken to a hospital in Matta where their condition was stated to be stable.
Following the incident, Colonel Kamran Rasheed, school vice-principal Nasruddin, District Naib Nazim Abdul Jabbar Khan, Assistant Commissioner Hazrat Ali and others reached the hospital to inquire after the health of the injured.
