Man succumbs to burn injuries
LAHORE
A 30-year-old man burnt in a Misri Shah area a few days ago died in hospital on Thursday.
The victim identified as Bilal sustained burns. He was admitted to Burn Unit of Mayo Hospital where he expired. Police handed over the body to the heirs after completing legal formalities.
Crackdown: DIG Operations directed the officers to intensify ongoing crackdown on criminal record holders prior to Ramazan.
Chairing a meeting on Thursday, he directed raids on target offenders on regular basis as according to fresh lists provided to the police stations.
He said security at entry and exit points of the city would remain on high alert and additional force would be provided to each police division for security purpose during Ramazan. Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit would patrol the areas at different timings.
