PPP notifies manifesto committee for 2018 polls
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday approved the formation of a ‘manifesto committee’ that has been tasked with drawing up the party’s electoral material for the general elections of 2018.
As per a statement issued by the Bilawal House’s Media Cell, the committee members are Senator Saleem Mandviwala (convener), Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Senator Farhatullah Babar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Sherry Rehman, Nafisa Shah and Azra Fazal Pechuho.
A notification in this regard was issued from the chairman's secretariat, the statement added.
Last week, Bilawal had approved the following additional office-bearers for the party’s Sindh division: Manzoor Hussain Wassan, senior vice president; Syed Murad Ali Shah, vice president (I); Rashid Rabbani, vice president (II); Nafisa Shah, vice president (III); Syed Nasir Shah, deputy general secretary (I); Dr Sikandar Shoro, deputy general secretary (II); Murtaza Wahab, deputy information secretary (I); Humera Alwani, deputy information secretary (II); Mukesh Chawla, finance secretary; Abdul Wahid Soomro, record and event secretary; Nauman Shaikh, public relations and coordination secretary.
