Air pollution poses a great threat since it damages the ozone layer. It is caused by smoke emitted from automobiles, industries, factories, refrigerants, etc. Air pollution has adverse effects on the environment. It also causes a number of respiratory diseases.
It is the responsibility of the people to play their part in minimising air pollution. Public transport should be used to travel short distances. The excessive use of ACs and other cooling products should be discouraged. Our collective efforts can help minimise air pollution.
