PPP should clean Karachi first, says Punjab finance minister

LAHORE: “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Shareef have fulfilled their promises, 5710 MW will be included in national grid till December 2017, Pakistan economic growth has increased, Nawaz Sharif has convinced China for CPEC, investors showed trust and did investment in Pakistan,” said Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-u-Rehman while addressing a press conference at DGPR office on Thursday.

Mr NRO should see towards Sindh. Heaps of garbage could be seen in Karachi. The PPP should clean first Karachi. They have made Karachi Moenjodaro. Cheating in exams has become the culture of Sindh. First try to eliminate corruption from Sindh, the minister said.

He said Shahbaz Sharif believed. “He delivered to the masses. The opponents who want to change the name of Shahbaz must know he is known as Shahbaz speed in China. China was reluctant regarding CPEC. PM brought CPEC in Pakistan,” he said.

He said Qamar Zaman Kaira should not be Noori Nath. People will not vote them. As people know them they are dacoits. PPP cannot win in next election. PML-N will win next election too, he said.

To a question, he said: “PML-N delivered in South Punjab. The procession of Layyah shows how much PML-N delivered there. This is PML-N which minimised terrorism to 70 per cent, 150,000 teachers were recruited in Punjab on merit. Imran Khan used to tell a lie, now the PPP has come to the line.”
