WoW! Hypermarket launched in City

First of its kind local hypermarket WoW! Hypermarket was launched in the city Sunday at Amanah Mall, Model Town Link Road, to promote local business and more hypermarkets in different cities.

The store, different in type as very good fresh items (perishable items, including meat, fruits and vegetables) are sold here, attracted a huge number of shoppers on the opening day. Besides, a unique home decor area also attracted people to high quality home décor items at very reasonable rates.

CEO of the WoW! Hypermarket Haroon Abdullah told The News, “We have planned to open more such hypermarkets in Pakistan,” adding previously only some international brand hypermarkets are operating in Pakistan while no local has invested to develop a local brand in this industry. Huge investment and growth potential exists in hypermarkets sector in Pakistan and the WoW! Hypermarket opening will be start of a new era of local brand in this sector.”

He said the area has a huge potential while no such facilities were available for the locals for grocery shopping in a cozy and healthy environment. Not only grocery, other essential items related with the daily life are also available.

The strength of the WOW! Hypermarket is its fresh section, Haroon said, adding that special focus has been on this section as people are very curious and careful about the quality when buying perishables.

Haroon said that demand of fresh foods is also on the rise so the WoW! Hypermarket has primarily focused on this segment.

The shoppers were also very happy with the opening of a modern Hypermarket in the area.

The shopping families also appreciated the WoW! Hypermarket management for adding a jewel to family shopping place in the vicinity. They said the myth that only international hypermarkets can provide such facilities will break and this will open a new competition between the local and international brands.

They said the discount offers given on various items ranging from packed food items, fresh items, fashion, clothing and home décor are the best in town. They said that WOW! Hypermarket offers were matchless in the area.

They believed such offers will be the success of the local WoW! Hypermarket and will create competition in the market which will ultimately benefit the consumers, they said.
