The PTI chief is back to square one; he is planning to hold protest rallies in Islamabad, Attock and in the KP province. He is demanding the resignation of the prime minister, ‘again’. In his efforts to achieve his aim, he is trying to get support of other political parties as well. He needs to realise that people have had enough of his protests and dharnas. He has inculcated a spirit of defiance in the younger generation. A sense of aggressiveness has been developed in society which is not good. Imran is interpreting the verdict of the SC to suit his aims. A good leader must have patience, if he wants to succeed. Imran has none. The SC order does not say that the PM should resign, why this uproar? On the other hand, PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan is hell bent on commenting on the verdict – putting across former president Asif Ali Zardari’s version.
It is now the responsibility of the electronic media to play a neutral role in the matter. The media should be unbiased and project fact relating to the issue. No anchor should be allowed to give his opinion on the judgment. Leave the judgment to the viewers.
