LAHORE: Dry weather was observed in the city here Tuesday while the Met office predicted light rain-thunderstorm along with gusty winds at a few places during the next 24 hours. Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm along with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Multan, DG Khan divisions and Kashmir.
They added that dust-storm/gusty winds are also expected to blow in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions. Rainfall was recorded at different cities, including Risalpur (05mm), Saidu Sharif (04mm), Lower Dir (01mm), DG Khan (01mm), Bagrote (09mm) and Hunza (01mm). Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Shaheed Benazirabad, Sakrand and Dadu where mercury reached 42°C while in Lahore, it was 34°C.
