ISLAMABAD: The general secretary of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), Allama Abbas Nasir Raja while expressing his views over the verdict of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Panama Leak case said that two senior judges of the apex court have declared Nawaz Sharif incapable to hold the office of prime minister.

While three other judges have ordered for holding an enquiry through the JIT. On the basis of the decision of two senior judges, PM should step down from his office, the MWM leader said. After the decision by two judges of the apex court, Nawaz Sharif has no justification to serve as prime minister, he said.

Talking to a group of journalists, Abbas Nasir Raja said that the people of Pakistan want to see corruption wiped off from the country. However, the decision of the apex court have disappointed them. The investigation officials of JIT comprises grade 18 officers, then how could they probe the prime minister of the country.  JIT has been given a soft way to save the prime minister from corruption case. No good results are expected from JIT, Nasir Raja believed. If one wants to expect fair and impartial probe by the JIT in the Panama Leaks case then the prime minister Nawaz Sharif has to step down, he stressed.

Talking on poverty, Allama Nasir Raja said that the rulers are doing nothing for the masses. Instead they are busy  in saving their positions and achieving interests.

Announcing mega projects worth billions of rupees of rupees is not enough. Rather people want improvement in health and education sectors. The government has to provide job opportunities to the people, control price hike, end loadshedding of power and gas from the country. However, no effective and practical works are being done except the fact that the rulers are giving only mere and false statements.

Replying to a question, Allama Nasir Raja  said the MWM is working for uniting people of the two sects by creating love among each other.
