PPP signs requisition to summon Senate, NA sessions

ISLAMABAD: Opposition parties in Senate and National Assembly hammered out a joint strategy to show strong reaction to force Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign. While the government also chalked out a plan to counter opposition’s move in order to release pressure.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has signed on requisition to summon sessions of Senate and National Assembly under the joint strategy of opposition parties. The parties which show willingness for strategy include Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and PML-Q, while PTI has also agreed in this regard.

On the other hand the government thrashed out plan to counter opposition parties’ strategy and decided not to come under any pressure in this regard.

According to reliable sources, Imran Khan, Sirajul Haq and Chaudhry Shujaat have decided to make alliance in both the houses of Parliament and these leaders are also discussing to make joint strategy to hold agitation outside the Parliament. There is also likelihood that the opposition parties will agree on one point agenda outside the Parliament.
