Pakistan eyes export deals
ISLAMABAD: Engineering Development Board (EDB) is upbeat that high quality Pakistani products will grab the attention of the world in the form of export deals at the global industrial technology show, Hannover Messe 2017, scheduled from April 24 to 27 in Germany, official sources said on Friday.
“The board has registered prominent players from the country to participate in the prestigious exhibition with an objective to explore and expand export market for Pakistani engineering products,” the sources told Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The news wire also quoted the sources as saying that Pakistan's pavilion would be established in the industrial supply category at the engineering expo, which emphasises on digitisation of manufacturing, human-machine collaboration, innovative subcontracting solutions, and intelligent energy systems.
“Products like auto parts/components, farm machinery parts/components, and tractors will be showcased at the Pakistan's pavilion,” sources told the APP.
In addition, they said, electrical pumps, motors/fans, diesel engines, low/high pressure compressors, towing parts, rubber hoses, industrial rubber products, plastic injection molded parts, and precision engineering components would be on display at Pakistan’s pavilion.
