Pakistan has no proxies: COAS
Says we ourselves are victim of state-sponsored terrorism; action being taken against terrorists of all hue and colour; Gen Bajwa rejects American allegations in talks with US NSA
RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said Pakistan itself is a victim of state-sponsored terrorism and it strongly rejects allegations of employing proxies from its soil.
The army chief said this in a meeting with General HR McMaster, US National Security Adviser, who called on the COAS at the General Headquarters on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The visiting dignitary was briefed about Pakistan's war on terror and its contributions to regional and global stability. It was highlighted that the distinguishing feature of Pakistan's counter terrorism effort was the focus against terrorists of all hue and colour.
