BA annual exams commence today

Around 34,665 candidates would appear in BA (regular and private) annual examinations, 2014 starting Friday (today).
The University of Karachi (KU) had established 19 examination centres for male students whereas female candidates would appear in 29 examination centres set up in different areas of the metropolis, announced Controller Examinations KU Prof Dr Arshad Azmi on Thursday.
As many as 1,250 male and 9,150 female students were enrolled for BA (Regular) Part-I while 750 male and 6,370 female candidates would appear in BA (Regular) Part-II examinations.
A total of 4,004 male and 6,074 female students were registered for BA (Private) Part-I annual examinations whereas 2,922 male and 4,415 female candidates would appear in BA (Private) Part-II papers.
The examination would be held from 2pm to 5pm whereas on Fridays, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
The controller examinations further mentioned that admit cards to those enrolled as private candidates had already been sent to their residential addresses.
