Says hearts of such people are sick and unable to accept guidance; blasphemy allegations are levelled under conspiracy; those spreading sectarianism will never be successful; we have to make stern decisions to protect our faith, principles, sanctity and values; people who commit blasphemy must not remain unmonitored; Pakistan joining the military alliance quite natural

ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Ka’aba Shaikh Saleh Bin Muhammad Ibrahim has said that the people who wrongly accuse others of blasphemy had a disease in their hearts. He added that such people use the name of Islam to serve their own purposes. The Imam-e-Ka’aba also added that such people would never get guidance because it was Allah’s saying: “And I shall turn from My signs those who wish greatness in the earth unjustly; and even if they see all the signs, they will not believe therein; and if they see the path of guidance, they will not like to walk on it; and if they see the path of error, they will be ready to adopt it.” (Surah Al-A'raf, 146)

He further said that a person who accuses someone wrongly because of his/her ignorance, then he/she must be educated. “Arrogance is the biggest hurdle in the way of being just and being a believer,” he said. “Therefore, arrogance is the biggest menace.” He added, therefore, we work to impart education, create awareness and spread Islamic injunctions in a good way. “We give education to the people and make the guidance of Allah more manifest,” he said. “Indeed, this is our responsibility.”

He added that the teachings of Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Hadith were shining like a bright light. The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that Allah had told his Prophet (peace be upon him): “Your duty is to only convey My message.” (Surah Ash-Shura, 48)

He said, “In the same way, we just convey His message to the people.” He further quoted: “Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good guidance and argue with them in a way that is best.” (Surah An-Nahl, 125)

The Imam-e-Ka’aba further quoted: “And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best.” (Surah Al-Ankabut, 46)

He said that the way of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and our own way was to give education by making the rightful clear to the people, guiding them in the best way possible and educating them. “Especially to those who accuse others of blasphemy as a part of conspiracy,” he said.

He added that people who were stubborn must be dealt with strictly. The Imam-e-Ka’aba said, “We are the followers of Islam and forgiveness is an essential part of our religion. However, we cannot accept if someone attacks our faith, principles, sanctity or values. It is not any kind of tolerance to let such people remain unmonitored who openly commit blasphemy. We must make stern decisions to protect our faith, principles, sanctity or values.”

Imam-e-Ka’aba Shaikh Saleh Bin Muhammad Ibrahim has said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were facing acute terrorism, which was a conspiracy by the enemies of Islam. He further said that a military alliance was extremely important to uphold peace in the world.

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that Pakistan joining the Islamic military alliance was quite natural. He claimed that this military alliance would be highly effective in resolving conflicts between Muslims and making them united under one platform. He added that this was a victory of the Muslim world that such an alliance had been formed.

He said the Pakistani nation was a unique nation. He further added, “This nation is filled with the love of religion and the love of Muslims. These feelings are so uplifting and brilliant that they cannot be traded with anything else in the world.”

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that he visited Pakistan following the order of Saudi Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud. He added that one of the reasons to visit Pakistan was to promote peace, stability and moderation and to curb extremism, terrorism and sectarianism. He said, “Our religion is free of such menaces. Saudi Arabia also stays away from such menaces and tries to keep others away from such menaces.”

He told the “Geo News” that it was Allah’s bounty that he became the Imam-e-Ka’aba. “My parents gave me the best environment to acquire the education of Holy Qura’an and I learnt the Holy Qura’an by heart at a very young age,” the Imam-e-Ka’aba said.

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that the mutual relation of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was extremely strong. He added that it was difficult to find a strong relation like this in the entire world. He said that religious schools were a distinction for Pakistan, while education and religious scholars were Pakistan’s honour.

He said, “Pakistan’s religious scholars were quite influential in Pakistan and the world as well. Even in countries where they are living as minority, Pakistanis have made a great impression over there.”

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said, “20 crore people live in Pakistan. Pakistan is an exemplary country. It is seen active in all fields. As a Muslim country, we respect Pakistan a lot. Respect for religion is the identity of Pakistan.”

“Pakistan owns a unique importance in educational, political, economic and military horizons,” he said. “Pakistan is a powerful country and holds international significance. Pakistan’s geographical location uplifts its political and military weight in the eyes of the entire world. Pakistan’s power is the power of all Muslims.”

While talking about the security of Iran and certain other Muslim countries, the Imam-e-Ka’aba said, “By holding tight to the rope of Allah, minor differences are settled. People who spread sectarianism will never be successful. Islam gives the message of peace and love. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are brothers to each other. The creation of this alliance is the victory of the Muslim world. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are both part of this military alliance, who will defeat the enemy together.”

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said, “We will beat the enemies of Islam through this military alliance. This alliance will also prove that Muslims are against terrorism, turbulence and violence. It will help curb violence and it will unite Muslims to fight against the enemies.” The Imam-e-Ka’aba expressed these views in an exclusive interview with the “Geo News”.

The Imam-e-Ka’aba said that his visit to Pakistan was great. He added that he got a lot of love and respect from the people of Pakistan. The Imam-e-Ka’aba advised, “I advise the youth of Pakistan to focus on the teachings of Islamic scholars. I urge them to get educated about Islam. I also advise them to be united and be one force. The enemy will not be able to harm them if they are a single united force armed with adequate Islamic teachings.”

He further added that in the prevailing world order, the Islamic scholars had a great responsibility on their shoulders. “They are required to bring people close to the teachings of Holy Qura’an and Sunnah,” he said. “They should enlighten people with the teachings of Islam.”

He said that Pakistan had always stood by Saudi Arabia in upholding peace and Islamic injunctions. “Saudi Arabia has always stood by its brothers. We firmly believe that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are like real brothers. Therefore, we don’t want to recount the incidents in which both countries stood by each other because helping your brother is a natural instinct. By the grace of God, we know that the relations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are not for the sake of some occasion or special event, however, they are here to stay for long. This relationship isn’t new and is here to stay, forever. In current situation, the arrangements made by Pakistan with regards to the defence of the Holy Land are quite plausible. We pray to Allah that both countries sustain their relations and be there for each other in times of trouble.”
