Haq Nawaz appointed acting auditor general

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Haq Nawaz, a Grade-22 officer of Audit and Accounts Group, as acting auditor general. According to A notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, President Mamnoon Hussain, exercising his powers, appointed Haq Nawaz as acting auditor general who would assume the duties till the permanent appointment for this slot. The former auditor general, Asad Amin, had retired at the age of 65 and dispatched the summery of four officials for the position to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, which also included the name of Haq Nawaz.
