Islamabad
Online sale and purchase of summer clothes has gained momentum due to rise in temperature with sellers using all available techniques to lure the customers who look for the ‘best’ deal at affordable prices.
Now there are dozens of internet websites that are providing free-of-cost space to everyone for online advertisement of the used clothes that is why this opportunity is being used by thousands of people across the country.
“I have recently purchased a second-hand wedding dress at very reasonable price using an internet website. Now I am also searching for used but branded sandals on different websites and I think I will also be able to find them at affordable prices,” said Shabnam Bhatti, a resident of Rawalpindi.
Fehmida Khan, a resident of Islamabad, said the concept of online buying and selling is now not new in Pakistan but the idea of selling used but branded original items such as clothes, shoes and bags is certainly novel.
“I know two Karachi based friends who are both certified accountants and they have launched an online ‘Landa Bazaar’. Their website is getting popular with each passing day as thousands of people visit it daily looking for second-hand garments,” she said.
