Delay in laying sewage lines troubling visitors of DHQ Hospital
Rawalpindi: The residents and traders have demanded of the concerned authorities to complete the work of laying sewage pipeline in front of District Headquarters Hospital as digging on the main road is severely disrupting the vehicular traffic in the area.
Sardar Yaqoob Sultan, a trader, said the contractor initiated the work some fifteen days ago for laying sewage pipeline to throw the wastage of the District Headquarters Hospital into the Nullah Leh but now the work has been stopped due to which traffic jams have become a routine matter in main busy markets.
Another trader, Mian Aslam, said their businesses have been badly affected due to closure of one of the main roads as the shoppers now avoid enter into these markets due to frequent traffic jams. "The contractor must complete the work and open the road for the vehicular traffic otherwise we will stage protest sit-in in front of the Mayor office," he said.
