MANSEHRA: Four members of a census team sustained injuries when a jeep fell into ravine in Jabri Kaleesh area on Thursday.
The census team members were travelling in a jeep to Jabri Kaleesh from Balakot when the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a ravine. Locals rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital in Balakot.
After emergency treatments in Balakot, the injured were shifted to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra where their condition is stated to be out of danger. Those injured in the accident are identified as army soldier Mohammad Akram, Constable Akhtar Nawaz, enumerator (Teacher) Mohammad Munsaf and driver Mohammad Riaz.
An enumerator, Abdul Qadir, was killed and three other members of a population census team sustained injures when their jeep met an accident in Battal area of the district earlier this week.
