Admiral Aleem takes charge as Commander Coast

Rear Admiral Abdul Aleem assumed charge as Commander Coast at an impressive change of command ceremony held at the PNS Iqbal on Monday.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Navy informed that, on assumption of command, Rear Admiral Aleem is now commander of all units and establishments of the Pakistan Navy along the Coastal belt and Creeks Areas. The admiral would also head the Special Services Group (Navy) and Pak Marines.
Admiral Aleem was commissioned in the Operations Branch of the Pakistan Navy in 1984. The admiral has a distinguished career with wide ranging command and staff experience. His command appointments include Command of Multinational Counter Piracy Task Force 151, 25th Destroyer Squadron and guided missile destroyer.
