‘Kidney transplant to start at BVH’

LAHORE
Punjab Minister for Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Kh Salman Rafiq has said that kidney transplantation facility would be started soon at Kidney Centre in Bahawalpur to provide medical treatment facilities to kidney patients.
He stated this while visiting Kidney Centre in Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH), Bahawalpur, according to a handout issued here on Saturday.
Punjab Additional Chief Secretary Shumail Ahmed Khawaja, Bahawalpur Commissioner Saqib Zafar, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Principl Prof Dr Ajlal Haider Rizvi and Bahawal Victoria Hospital Medical Superintendent Rao Javed Akhtar were also present.
