BIEK announces results of commerce,humanities supplementary exams

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Friday announced supplementary results of commerce (regular) and humanities (regular and private) groups of the higher secondary school certificate (class-XII).

According to BIEK controller of examinations Muhammad Imran Khan Chishti, as many as 13,674 candidates were registered and 12,986 students appeared in the commerce private supply exams.

As per the gazette, 5,645 candidates managed to clear all papers. The overall pass percentage is 43.74 percent.

The gazette mentioned that 8,527 male students registered and 8,039 candidates appeared while 3,491 students cleared their exams. The passing percentage is 43.43 percent.

Only one candidate received A-grade, 22 students got B-grade, 339 candidates cleared papers with C-grade, 2,545 students managed to get D-grade and 584 candidates passed their exams with E-grade.

The gazette shows that 5,147 female students were registered of whom 4,947 candidates appeared and 2,154 students were declared pass. The passing percentage was 43.54 percent.

Only two students received A-grade, 19 candidates got B-grade, 371 students managed to get C-grade, 1,556 candidates obtained D-grade and 206 candidates cleared exams with E-grade.

Humanities regular

The gazette also shows that 3,671 students were registered and 3,486 candidates appeared in the papers of humanities (regular) group.

As many as 1,452 students were declared passed and the pass percentage is 41.65 percent.

As per the gazette, 581 male candidates were registered of whom 540 students appeared and 241 candidates managed to clear all papers. The pass percentage is 44.63 percent

The gazette shows that only seven candidates received B-grade, 63 students got C-grade, 135 candidates managed to pass their exams with D-grade and 36 students got E-grade.

As many as 3, 090 female candidates were registered and 2,946 students appeared of which 1,211 candidates cleared all papers. The pass percentage is 41.11 percent.

Only two girls received A-grade, 32 students passed exams with B-grade, 254 candidates got C-grade, 779 students obtained D-grade and 144 candidates managed to get E-grade.

 

Humanities private

The gazette shows that 3,397 students were registered and 3,205 candidates appeared in the papers of humanities (private) group.

As many as 1,777 students were declared passed and the pass percentage is 55.44 percent.

As per the gazette, 1,466 male candidates were registered of whom 1,380 students appeared and 776 candidates managed to clear all papers. The pass percentage is 56.23 percent

The gazette shows that 40 candidates received B-grade, 216 students got C-grade, 439 candidates managed to pass their exams with D-grade, 73 students had E-grade and eight candidates were declared pass despite failing to get E-grade.

As many 1,931 female candidates were registered and 1,825 students appeared of whom 1,001 candidates cleared all papers. The pass percentage is 54.85 percent.

Only two girls received A-grade, 27 students passed exams with B-grade, 232 candidates got C-grade, 621 students obtained D-grade and 112 candidates managed to get E-grade while seven students just passed their exams.
