ATMs are installed across the country so that a person can conveniently withdraw the required amount. Their services provide convenience to users especially during public holidays when all banks are closed. However, it has been observed that whenever the government announced a long holiday, ATMs are closed because of maintenance. This creates a lot of problem for salaried individuals who are in a dire need of cash.
The higher authorities should look into this matter. The SBP should monitor the services of scheduled banks. Out of order ATMs should be immediately fixed. In this way, the people will avail maximum facilities.
