Dubai ruler leads pedestrians by example

DUBAI: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, waited for the green light at a pedestrian crossing in “City Walk”, sending a clear message that laws should be respected in Dubai.

This comes just one day after Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid ordered a City Walk stunt driver to clean Dubai streets, says a report
published in Al-Arabiya Saturday.

The sanction stated that the driver and those who were with him in the car should spend 4 hours per day cleaning public streets in Dubai for a month.

It is a community service that should be served to compensate for what the stunt driver and his friends have caused in terms of physical and psychological damages when they terrorised pedestrians and threatened their safety.
