Implementation of NAP in Shaheed Benazirabad reviewed
NAWABSHAH: In order to take a view on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) in Shaheed Benazirabad, a meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nouman Siddiq here on Friday.
Addressing the meeting, the DC said that in order to face the existing situation, unity was essential to work together towards a single cause. He directed heads of different departments to exchange information linked with the issue and keep an eye on bus stops in the limits of the district and also the Nawabshah railway station.
It was decided in the meeting to accommodate foreign students of the Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology. It was also observed that students of this university, who belonged to different countries, were residing in rented private houses.
It was also learnt that the data of various madaris was being gathered along with students and teachers residing therein. In the end, it was decided that the Rangers would check vehicles in order to find suspicious people throughout the district.
