Wave of terror

Terrorism has once again spread across Pakistan. It has shaken the stability of the country and spread a wave of fear among the people. The series of terrorist attacks have taken the lives of innocent people. Terrorists are ever ready to create uneasiness in the country.

In Pakistan extremism has touched heights. The recent attacks have also questioned the efficiency of law-enforcement agencies. The government should ensure the strict implementation of the National Action Plan with zero tolerance.

The Sehwan attack is another example of the security lapse in the country. At least 88 people, including women and children, lost their lives and more than 250 were left injured. The sudden increase in such events has flared up fear among the people.

One is unable to understand why such activities are not being stopped. Terrorist attacks are not new, but so many attacks in a matter of days has raised concerns of the people. The mistakes of the past are being repeated and terrorists are successfully harming our country. The government should increase security and protect the lives of the innocent people.
