KU gets new registrar

Karachi University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan on Tuesday appointed Professor Dr Nabeel Ahmed Zubairi, chairman of the Sociology department, as the new registrar. According to a notification, Dr Zubairi has assumed the charge of his post with an immediate effect.
He has replaced Professor Dr Moazam Ali Khan. Prior to his latest responsibility, Dr Zubairi has also remained affiliated with the Glasgow University, the British Council and the European Union for various projects.
Dr Zubairi also served the varsity as its foreign students’ advisor and the KU students’ advisor. He joined the KU in 1993 as a lecturer.
